Post nuptial agreements who is it for?
You might be a couple who are married or in a civil partnership and are looking at a way to protect or decide where your assets will end up if you ever were to decide to separate or divorce. Alternatively, parents who are unsure how to pass assets to an adult child who is already married who may wish to ensure that such assets are protected in the event of the separation or divorce.
Sometimes they are used if one partner inherits or receives a gift and this is going to be used to buy a house or spent in some other way.
